With the rise in critically unwell people and the higher incidence in vulnerable individuals, you are likely to find you are managing more people with delirium during the coronavirus pandemic. This may feel challenging, but the principles are the same as with standard delirium care. Risk reduction and treatment with good fundamental care, screening and identification, and a multidisciplinary person centred approach are your keys to excellent delirium care.
